A Resignation

Viv Compton

--

To Whom It May Concern,

I hope this letter finds you well. I write to tender my resignation from my position as a young woman from Life Corporations. I have accepted my position as a middle-aged woman for the IDAF Company, an exciting start-up and suited to women of my experience and age.

Working for Life Corporation has allowed me to experience a variety of tasks, especially emotional support worker for those advancing in their careers, resident cheerful woman to stabilize uncomfortable situations, and, my favourite, a member of the humility department where I was assigned after a short tenure in assertiveness and after taking emotional intelligence training to conform with emotional self-regulation as outlined by the company.

Please let me know which tasks you would like me to ̶g̶i̶v̶e̶ ̶u̶p̶ delegate. Part of my job description does involve cheerfully giving away things without complaint, and no doubt this is expected with due diligence. Working for this company has taught me so much, and I am grateful for the years of helping build this company.

Please get in touch with me if you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Fatima
